My Llama Felt Dress

Wow, after adding Merino wool puff rows with textural sewing on the front of the dress, it really turned out in a way I really like. I just listed it last night so I really haven't much of a response, but I sure hope some of you like it.

The big thing I'm finding about felting something is that you can always refelt it, needle felt pieces with it to change it to the way you want it to be.

So, I hope everyone out there is getting the Christmas vibe. I haven't been hearing much Christmas music, so I have still to get in the mood.

Well hope you are all doing well and hope to hear from you. Hugs.

Oh, here's a pic of the dress:

A new and old thing for me

I find I've gone into my roots with hand embroidery and creating mosaics on my designs. Such a way of expression for me, that is so embracing. I love adding all the little bits and pieces that go into the whole.

The process is a flowing, emerging creation for me and not a thought out, planned and structured thing. I wonder how many others work this way?

Such hot days now in Vancouver, Richmond. I remember when August was our month of hot days to count on. It has changed so much over the years. There were a few years of May having hot months, February and even March with some snow! Well, I hope it stays moderate as really hot or really cold just aren't for me! :)
